Met gepaste trots presenteren wij u de eerste Volvo VT5 Aero! Na 94 Scania Next Gen Torpedo’s en 16 Volvo VT5 torpedo trucks is het nu tijd voor de Volvo VT5 Aero. Met de Volvo FH Aero zette Volvo grote stappen op het gebied van luchtweerstand en efficiency. Het afgeronde, schuin achterover hellende, gestroomlijnde front ziet er niet alleen modern en strak uit en het zorgt ook voor een aantoonbaar lager brandstofverbruik. Voor ons een van de redenen om deze lijn door te trekken naar onze torpedo modellen.
Naast het bouwen van een nieuw model torpedo hebben we ook de focus gelegd op vernieuwende aspecten in de opbouw ervan. Zo is de truck door ons onder andere uitgevoerd met een achterbumper met LED bars, een verlicht Volvo logo op het uitlaatrek, verlichte opgelegde letters op de lichtplaat en zijn de opstappen aan de voorzijde dicht gemaakt en voorzien van werkverlichting. De rest van de extra verlichting en accessoires zijn uiteraard ook door ons opgebouwd, laat de foto’s voor zich spreken!
We hebben ook gekozen voor een nieuwe grille in de neus met dezelfde structuur als de ondergrille. Dit vinden wij mooier bij het geheel passen, iets wat te maken heeft met persoonlijke smaak.. Mocht u onze smaak delen hebben we goed nieuws: deze grille zal binnenkort leverbaar zijn en is ook toepasbaar op de frontstuur modellen van de FH Aero!

With the Volvo FH Aero, Volvo made great strides in the field of air resistance and efficiency. The rounded, backward sloping, streamlined front not only looks modern and sleek, it also ensures demonstrably lower fuel consumption. For us, one of the reasons to continue this line with our torpedo models.
In addition to building a new torpedo model, we also focused on innovative aspects in its styling. For example, we equipped the truck with a rear bumper with LED bars, an illuminated Volvo logo on the exhaust frame, illuminated letters on the light plate and the steps at the front are closed and equipped with work lighting. The rest the lighting and accessories were of course also built by us, let the photos speak for themselves!
We have also chosen for a new grille in the bonnet with the same structure as the lower grille. We think this fits better in the total picture, something that has to do with personal taste.. If you share our taste, we have good news: this grille will be available soon and can also be used on the front steer models of the FH Aero!
